Level 1 stays in first position between D3 and D4 with whole, half and quarter notes. Each level adds range, note values and intervals, up to Level 5 with all clefs and keys, complex rhythms and large leaps. Choose a clef, a key and a meter, or let the exercise choose, and set the length in bars.
How to practice sight-reading
Look through the exercise before you play: the key, the meter, the highest and lowest notes, and any rhythm you have not met before. Then press Play and keep going with the cursor, whatever happens; a slip is not a reason to stop. Afterward, press Hear it to check what you read, and make a new exercise rather than polishing the old one.
